AFTEK CURECON PW SMARTWAX 1000L

Description

Curecon PW is a Class A water based wax curing compound used to retain moisture in concrete for effective curing. Used for all concrete but specifically designed for use in mass concrete structures such as roadwork, bridgework, civil construction and runways. Curecon PW Smartwax dries rapidly and becomes resistant to wash off in about 15 minutes after application.

    • APPLICATION

    Surface Preparation:

    Curecon PW should be evenly sprayed onto the surface over the freshly laid concrete as soon as possible after final trowelling. Note Curecon PW is not compatible with many hydrocarbon solvent based primers, water based coatings, tile and flooring adhesives and is NOT suitable for use on concrete roads which will be subject to line marking.

    Mixing:

    Use Curecon PW as supplied – do not dilute. If the product has been stored for more than 6 months, particular care should be taken to ensure the product is thoroughly mixed before use.

    Placement:

    Ideally Curecon PW should be applied as soon as the surface bleed water has evaporated. In all cases Curecon PW should be applied at a coverage rate not greater than 5m2 per litre.

    Clean Up:

    Clean immediately after use with water. Dried Curecon PW may be softened with solvent preparations such as Solvent 525.

    Storage:

    Store in the original unopened containers in cool, dry conditions. Use within 12 months of date of manufacture.

    Yield:

    5 square metres per litre (0.2 litres / m2) using a spray applicator. Do not brush.
