Description

MDF Board has numerous uses on site, during construction, demolition, installs and upgrades. These MDF boards come is a 2400mm x 1200mm x 3mm dimension.


MDF stands for medium-density fibreboard. It is a multi purpose wood product made by breaking down hardwood or softwood residuals into wood fibres. The wood fibres, combined with wax and a resin binder are then bonded into panels by applying a high heat and pressure. MDF is generally denser than plywood and is used in hundreds of different ways in the building and construction sectors.


MDF is a composite product useful for furniture, cabinetry, flooring and shelving due to its smooth finish, machinability, strength and consistency. It is a strong, all purpose panel that is best for interior use, measuring 2400 x 1200 mm x 3 mm thick. Easy to cut and drill, this versatile product provides an excellent substrate for painting due to its very smooth surface.
