Description

Adjustable load bearing builders props, also known as Acrow props. Designed to provide temporary support for formwork, walls, ceilings and overhead structures. Routinely deployed during construction and maintenance, these builders props increase productive and safety.

The builders prop utilises a telescopic design: tubular steel provides a telescoping action, allowing the prop to be wound tightly into place. This same design makes installation, transportation and storage of the props a breeze. Safe working load (SWL) limits will depend on the size of the Acrow prop and the extension it is installed at.

The height of the prop is easily adjustable by a screw thread on the outside of the prop shaft. The threaded screw allows tightening of the acrow prop once in place. This same action also allows for load balancing across the props.

This handy piece of construction equipment will be found on most construction sites at various stages. Builders proper are known as many names including acrow props, shore props and acro jacks.
