Rigid Conduit 20mm x 3m (25/pack)
Description
Rigid conduit is a plastic spacer tube which is used to provide accurate clearance in formwork. It is commonly used in concrete applications to house Z bar or tie bar.
Conduit or tube spacer is an integral part of formwork systems, enabling tie bars to pass through the formwork and provide easier tightening. It is used in retaining walls and concrete columns creating a smooth passageway for z bars and tie bars to pass through. This enables the formwork to be tightened and conduit is often used in conjunction with cones which provide neat flush openings for the conduit ends.
The grout does not enter the tube which allows the Z bar to be easily removed when stripping the forms.
Rigid conduit is available in a range of sizes such as these 3 metre lengths (contact us for other sizes). They are supplied in full lengths and are cut down to the wall’s thickness and a cone is attached on each end.
The grout tube has an outside diameter of 20mm.
