Tiger Tails 2.5m Black/Yellow
Description
Tiger tails are synthetic tubes that are clipped together over powerlines to provide a useful visual indication of live overhead powerlines. Note that tiger tails do not insulate wires or protect people from the risk of electrocution or electric shock when working near high voltage overhead wires.
Tiger tails are used extensively by utilities and electrical contractors as a visual warning of power lines and conductors. Made from HDPE plastic with a mechanical interlock fastening system, they are robust cable covers measuring 2.5 metres long. With an easily recognisable hi-vis black and yellow stripe pattern, they offer workers immediate identification of overhead lines. Tiger tails have an inside diameter of 35 mm and are sold individually.
Features:
Note that tiger tails do not reduce safe work distances, provide insulation or protect from electric shock, they are a visual indicator only.
